At Grace Church, our beliefs are rooted in the divine wisdom revealed by God through Scripture, rather than being man-made constructs. Our Confession of Faith serves as a representation of the biblical teachings we, as a local church, affirm regarding God, the Bible, Christ, Sin, the Church, and how doctrines relate to our world today. We acknowledge that individuals in our church congregation have unique histories and perspectives. Yet, we find unity in our common dedication to this core confession binding us together in Spirit-filled unity.
Understanding that cultivating a discipleship-focused church necessitates openness and transparency, we recognize the Biblical significance of church membership. Our Church Covenant outlines our mutual responsibility and accountability to one another, adding direction to our connections. This covenant also illuminates the manner in which we extend love to each other, mirroring the love God has bestowed upon us through Jesus.
Our Constitution represents a mutually accepted framework that guides the effective operation of our church. It encompasses protocols for selecting church leadership, welcoming new members, dismissing members, and organizing ourselves in a manner that both glorifies God and fosters mutual discipleship.
One of the practices we participate in when we gather is singing to God and each other through psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. This document provides the structure for Grace Church to take biblical truth regarding music and apply it practically to our corporate gatherings. As Grace Church grows, changes, and adapts to the local needs of the gospel, our music team will hold to this Philosophy of Music as the foundation and standard for which we will continually return to for biblical accountability in corporate worship both now and in future generations.
